About Us
Daat Foundation is a charitable trust committed to building a safe, supportive, and child-friendly society. Founded with a vision to make childhood free from fear, exploitation, and neglect, the foundation works at the intersection of child protection, mental health, education, and community empowerment.
Our core mission focuses on spreading socio-legal awareness particularly around the POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences), with the aim of preventing abuse and creating a safer environment for children. Recognizing that protection goes hand in hand with education and awareness, we actively engage with parents, students, teachers, school staff, community stakeholders, District Child Protection Units (DCPUs), and local authorities to foster a deeper understanding of child rights and safety.
Beyond legal awareness, Daat Foundation also addresses the emotional and psychological well-being of children. Our interventions focus on spreading awareness and delivering support around mental health issues, especially those connected with childhood trauma, anxiety, behavioral concerns, and parenting challenges.
